We are selling a shredding and processing system for printer toner
cartridges. The system is also suitable for processing small and
medium-sized waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).It was
only in operation for five years and has already been professionally
dismantled.
This shredding and processing plant for toner cartridges was developed
to efficiently separate valuable materials and reuse them in the
recycling process. Through the use of high-performance machinery and
intelligent separation technologies, this line enables the sustainable
and economical recovery of metals and plastics from toner
cartridges.The process consists of several stages: First, the modules
are shredded, then sorted and finally separated in order to optimally
process the different material fractions.
Machines and processes of the plant.
1. Feed dispenser with big bag unloading station – length 5 m
Used for the controlled emptying and dosing of material from big
bags.
2. Inclined belt conveyor – length 10 m, conveying speed 0.7 m/s,
power 4 kW
It transports the material at a speed of approximately 0.7 m/s to a
defined height and is part of a recycling or processing line.
3. Shredding machine - Bomatic B1000D
The Bomatic B1000D is a high-performance four-shaft shredder with two
22 kW motors, specifically designed for shredding complex materials
such as toner cartridges. Its robust construction and powerful drives
enable efficient shredding of plastics, rubber, wood, and the metallic
components of the cartridges.

4. Vibrating conveyor trough with screen (4 m, 2 × kW) – Efficient
material separation
After crushing, the material is conveyed via a 4 m long vibrating
conveyor trough with a screen, resulting in a separation into fine and
coarse fractions.

5. – Screw conveyor SD5003
Screw conveyors are used in recycling and processing plants for the
uniform conveying of bulk materials, granules or flakes.
6. Rotarex R1200 – Vertical High-Performance Shredder
The Rotarex R1200 is a powerful vertical shredder with a 90 kW motor
for the efficient processing of a wide variety of materials. It is
particularly suitable for demanding applications such as electronic
waste, MBT waste, slaughterhouse waste, toner, or horse manure.

8. Magnetic separator – removal of ferrous metals
A high-performance magnetic separator reliably removes all ferrous
metals such as steel parts, screws and ferromagnetic contaminants.

Separates aluminium, copper and brass from plastic fractions using

10. Filter system (extraction system)
The filter system is an integrated piping system for removing dust
from the material, especially toner dust. The separated particles are
collected and compacted in a big bag positioned below the hopper.

9. ATEX explosion protection system
ATEX is a European directive for explosion protection (ATmosphères
EXplosibles”).
In the event of an explosion, extinguishing powder containers are
activated by gas generators. A specially designed, reusable flap valve
ensures rapid opening. The extinguishing powder is immediately
introduced into the resulting explosion cloud and effectively
suppresses the flame.
